	Digital Video Recorder (DVR), is a system that captures images from standard video camera inputs and decodes them into JPEG/MJPEG/Wavelet/MPEG4 formats and then records the decoded images to Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
	Traditionally, the most advanced device to record surveillance system was a time lapse Video Cassette Recorder (VCR). Compared to analog CCTV systems, DVR systems offer many key benefits to the CCTV user such as a such a motion detection, motion tracking scaling, remote surveillance, auto dial to a designated number and high quality video compression. There is no worry about changing VCR tapes and images are already recorded digitally on HDD at very high resolution.
	In order to make sure images can be used as evidence, you are able to use portable HDD,DVD-RAM, etc. as back-up storage devices. Neosyst DVR comes with user friendly software (GUI) for immediate hands-on surveillance and allows users to record, playback, configure, backup and monitor images simultaneously (Pentaplex). One of the main features of the DVR is the transmission of quality images through standard telephone line, ISDN, LAN, and Leased lines.

	Digital Video Recording is a function that makes prolonged recording and monitoring of multiple moving pictures (frames) transforming and compressing them into digital signals.
